SoCal ACS Advocacy Committee offered their first presentation in an ongoing series on Surgical Advocacy, entitled “Introduction to Advocacy” which was presented on August 26, 2024 by John Lam, MD, MBA, FACS.
John Stephen Lam, MD, MBA, FACS is a partner with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG). Dr. Lam currently serves as the SCPMG Government Relations Area Lead for the Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills and West Ventura Service Area. He is the Immediate Past-President of the California Urological Association and a Delegate to the California Medical Association where he currently serves as the Chair on the Council on Health Professions and Quality of Care. Dr. Lam is also a member of the American Urological Association’s State Advocacy Committee. Dr. Lam maintains a busy practice with a focus on urologic oncology.
