Membership Benefits
As representatives of nearly 2,000 Fellows, the Southern California Chapter, the largest and most active in the American College of Surgeons, has become a strong, relevant force representing both surgeons and surgical patients.
The Chapter's purpose is to promote the aims, interests, ideals and programs of the American College of Surgeons and to serve as a means of communication between the members of the Chapter and the College. To elevate the standards of practice, training and education in surgery and provide a means through which the Fellows may communicate with other professional and civic groups concerned with the improved delivery of health care.
